Stadim’s ESG team supports clients with reasoned yet pragmatic, data-driven ESG solutions for real estate. Our expertise in both the technical and financial side of real estate enables us to assess key ESG investments, analyze their impact on investments and returns, and evaluate how sustainability affects property value. This allows us to offer well-reasoned strategic advice to our real estate management clients at both the building and portfolio levels.

To facilitate the cycle of sustainable financing and support clients in the transition of their real estate portfolio, Stadim is working closely with technical partner Bopro. Together, Stadim and Bopro have been selected by ING as preferred partners to support corporate clients in their real estate transition. In addition, Stadim demonstrates its commitment to sustainability as a founding member of the Belgian Green Building Council (BGBC) and through active participation in the VOKA Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen (VCDO).

The job

  • You will support ESG building scans and develop ESG investment roadmaps to facilitate valuations and support client decision making.
  • You will contribute to business development initiatives.
  • You will work closely with preferred partners (including Bopro) to perform technical due diligence, certifications and energy audits in line with client needs.
  • You will make contributions to internal projects with the goal of further structurally integrating ESG into the organization and services, and to the development of digital tools.
  • You will support the investment analysis and valuation of solar panels, charging stations, wind turbines, …
  • You actively follow up on sustainability regulations and legislation (such as mandatory renovations and regulatory reporting) and translate these requirements into practical guidelines for clients and into usable input for our valuation and advisory assignments.
    You contribute to market research and support training on ESG in real estate (Stadim Academy).

Your qualifications

  • You have a passion for sustainability and real estate.
  • You have a technical master’s degree (civil engineer, engineer-architect, industrial engineer or a related field) and 1-2 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction.
  • You have a solid knowledge of construction processes and are motivated to explore their economic and valuation aspects.
  • You are a highly organized team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.
  • You are a strong communicator who can switch smoothly between business and technical stakeholders and enjoy sharing knowledge.
  • You take initiative, anticipate challenges and take a forward-looking approach.
  • You are a critical thinker with a focus on innovation and creative problem solving.
  • You are familiar with agile working and have an affinity for data.
  • You speak, write and understand Dutch and/or French perfectly, and have a fluent knowledge of English

You will work in beautiful Antwerp. Our modern office is located at Mechelsesteenweg 180, in the heart of the city, with an open workspace and a wide view. Well served by public transportation: streetcar stops Gounod and Harmonie are nearby, Antwerp-Berchem Station is a half-hour walk away, and there is a Velo station right outside the door.
